Mr. Shabbick founded Shulman and Shabbick dedicating his practice to helping clients in the areas of workers' compensation, personal injury, family law and divorce, social security disability, and general civil litigation. As the son of a coal miner from a small town, Mr. Shabbick understands the unique challenges facing many blue collar working families. Mr. Shabbick has handled thousands of workers compensation cases throughout various stages of litigation. He has argued before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court to protect the rights of a deceased worker’s family in receiving workers’ compensation benefits. Mr. Shabbick has utilized his unique experience of previously working as an insurance adjuster to expose and prevent efforts by employers and their insurance carriers from shortchange their employees.
In the area of family law, Mr. Shabbick has extensive experience handling thousands of divorce, custody, protection from abuse, and child and spousal support cases throughout the Lehigh Valley. Mr. Shabbick has successfully fought for a father who was wrongfully accused of abuse to obtain primary physical custody of his children. Mr. Shabbick has also represented mothers and grandparents in protecting their rights to custody and support, while ensuring the best interests of the children involved are met.
